January

February 9, 2016 Erik Johnson

January was a time of completion for a lot of things, but perhaps for us the biggest was the windows that finally arrived and were installed.

Christine and I continued with sanding and spent some time building stairs as well.

The rough-in of electrical, plumbing and mechanical was completed. Here we enjoy some later hours provided by lighting in the house.

I have a lot of work ahead of me up in these trusses, with the construction of what I am calling "light tubes", but for now I will just enjoy them as they are.

Once all the rough-ins were completed we did a family cleaning to prepare for the next stage of the game- insulation and sheetrock.

After going up and down ladders for the last several months, stairs are a great thing. These treads are temporary until we are through the messy work of sheetrocking. Now, I am almost caught up with posts to date. Sheetrocking is currently in process and hopefully I will have those photos posted soon.
