This was a drafting table designed for two children. At the core of its design was a desire for flexibility and a dedicated work space for the children that was theirs to control. Allowing drawing tools to stay out in a house with young children can only be accomplished well by having a strategic place for them. And keeping them out gives the children permission to continually be engaging creativity throughout their day. We show children their creative work is important when we give them their own work space.
